SAU Chapel
Worshipping together with nearly 800 students, faculty and staff is much of what makes SAU chapel unique. Combine that with hand-picked speakers from all over the country and you have an hour of life-changing encounter twice a week. One of the things that makes SAU special is its Chapel program. It's a time of song, stories, wisdom and praise. These are the things we need. We need a time to reflect and care. Finding that time is going to determine who you are. How can we describe Chapel? Well, we'd rather show you.

Happy Saturday. Today was Choptoberfest on campus. SAU's Choptoberfest is a little bit of down-home goodness to enjoy, put on by some of the Residence Life Staff. The country-styled, hillbilly atmosphere of the even includes all the great activities that you'd expect from a gathering like this. There was apple bobbing, sheaf tossing, pie eating contest, arm wrestling, bull riding, and a pig roast to cap it all off! Typically the event is hosted outside, but due to bad weather, the Residence Life Staff had to put it inside the gym. I took a video from when I was there, including the band, crowd, and bull riding. Enjoy, and have a fantastic weekend.

We created this homage to Apple's new TV ads to put in local theaters before the previews. If you see a movie in Jackson, you'll probably see this clip. We may put it in some other cities, so keep your eyes peeled. If you don't want to see it in theaters, check it out here.
